Holds two watches suggesting the owner was a wealthy person.Made of fruitwood and represents a Triumphal Arch.The Lion(allegory of strength),the Wreath of Laurels( allegory of Victory),the Eagle(the symbol of the Emperor,Napoleon)and the Dog(allegory of Faithfulness).A very outstanding piece of folkart. H.17 1/2in.,W.12 1/2in.(44cm by 32cm). 348A. Dutch Delft 18th. century plate. Has a flower center with sprigs of flowers around the border. Maker's mark (?) on the back. 9in.in diameter. 348B. Dutch Delft plate with Adam and Eve harvesting and all sorts of flowers and leaves around the border. This could be early 18th.or possibly 17th. century. The figures depicted makes the plate quite rare. 8 3/4in. diameter. 325.18th.century Dutch Delft commemorative lobbed dish.The centre with a picture of "William Of Orange"and initials "KW".11 1/2in by 2 1/4in.(29cm by 5 1/2cm). 443.Swedish Mora tall case clock dated 1835 and initialed "OFB". Swedish clock taken down to its original cream color.A well proportioned clock. This is one of six rugs made by a Mrs.Goetz of Clifford,Ontario.Two of the rugs are in my inventory numbers 431(Holyhocks)and 432(tree of life).The Hunter rug recently sold at auction in the area of $12,000.00.
