Alsace French Box

Description

A very decorated flower painted box from Alsace, north eastern France.
Late 18th eary 19th century. A similar box can be found at the Museum, Strasbourg,
Alsace ,France. While these highly decorated boxes are rare we have been lucky
to find four at auctions in the USA. They have that medieval look.
Size: 8 1/2 by 5 1/2 by 3 3/4 in. From a New Jersey collection at P&P.
