Description
A highly prized German antique carving of the Annunciation from the
early 18th century. The Archangel Gabriel makes the announcement,
heralding the birth of Christ to Mary symbolically depicted with the white dove
and rays of light holding a little baby within. Carved from one piece of wood.
Size: 10 by 15 by 1.5in.Considering its age it is in very good condition.
